The American singer-songwriter, John Grant was a former member of the alt-rock bad The Czars, before he embarked on a solo career in 2010. It was a brilliant decision – as his debut record, Queen Of Denmark was voted the best album of the year by Mojo magazine. His next album, 2013’s Pale Green Ghosts was another critical success and featured Sinaed O’Connor on backing vocals. This time it was named Album Of The Year by Rough Trade.

This distinctive t-shirt was designed for us by the illustrator Toby Triumph. The design is a portrait of John Grant holding an owl, with the phrase: “ALL BETS ARE OFF” written underneath. The phrase is a reference the title-track of his 2015 album, Grey Tickles, Black Pressure, which features the lyrics, “there are children who have cancer, so all bets are off.” The song, and more specifically the lyric itself inspired this collaboration between John Grant and Trekstock.
